Between, Stock, Modified, LCQ and the Main KOH race, Jimmy's 4x4 will have 20 Cars on the Lake Bed Racing !!

 Returning this year, Prior King, Loren Healey will be Racing his 2011 "LH Pro Series" car, Car is Fresh of a Win at Glenn Helen and Has Recently been torn all the way down and Fully Prep'd for the 2012 Season.

 Derek West will be Returning in his 2010 U4 Car, This is the same car that Derek Placed 3rd in 2010, and also Burnt to the Ground, derek's car is Proof this cars can take a licken and keep on ticking, I mean Racing. Plans are to get Derek in a new car soon..

 Cottin Rodd coming of a 8th place finish at Glenn Hellen California,, moving all the way up from 28th out of 48 to take a top Ten spot and qualify will be Racing Joe Owen's 2-seat U4 car, originally Built For Brian deegan of Metal Mulisha Fame.

 Both Cottin and Loren are awaiting new IFS cars similar to New Factory driver Nick Nelson.

Nicks Car is Fresh off the Jig Table and will be one of the new Addition's to the 2012/2013 car Line Up.

 Nick Had a really impressive run going in the 2011 KOH race untill a Broken rear yoke set him back from running in 4th to Finishing in 21st place. Nick also had a great show at Glenn Helen California, Finishing in 4th, giving him a spot in the Main race.

  New to Ultra 4 Racing Baja Champion and NASCAR Driver, Robby Gordon will be Racing, Driving the Jimmy's 4x4 Car That in the 2010 king of the Hammers, Loren Healey won in.

 Robby will be coming off of the DAKAR race in south America.

The Car Currently Belongs to Cancun Offroad in Cancum Mexico.

 

 Also returning this year is #4480, "The Other Woman", Bill Phillips, Bill had a very Impressive 2011 Season, Finishing Ultra4 series in 3rd place Over all. Bill is driving a U4 car Built in 2010.

 Gary Ferravanti and Gary Ferravanti Jr will be Returning to 2012 KOH in Jimmy's cars, Both Father and son hav had a Great 2011 season. Gary Senior had a Top Ten over all in Ultra 4 with a series finish of 9th. Gary Jr had a Great race, qualifing at The BITD silver State 300 Desert Race.

My cookie performed great, fresh out of the oven. Thanks to everyone at Jimmy's. Even though the clock was ticking to get 5 cars out for KOH they stayed steady and kept the quality up rather than try and just rush it. It is always interesting to hear Randy's new ideas, he is very progressive with his business.

6-08-2009: Team Jimmys 4x4 takes top seat in XRRA East series


We are very Proud to announce that we have regained our title as the East coast XRRA Champions this weekend when Jimmys 4X4 driver Derek West won Saturday and took 3rd on Sunday at Jellico.

Saturday's race was the third out of five for the East coast series. Derek won round 1,2,and 3 and took 3rd in round 4. this leaves only one race of the season remaining and no way to de-throne him of being the East coast king in XRRA.

 Here at Jimmy's we take your project very serious and build like it is one of our own. we are very proud of where our shop and team have gone in just a short four years.

 We are looking forward to the up and coming West coast, round 2 and 3 on June 20th and 21st. Our Goals are to walk away with another Victory from one of our drivers such as , Rick Deremo, currently holding 1st place, or Cottin Rodd, Jason feuilly, Terill Johnston or 2009 new to the Team Curtis Thayne.

4-20-2009: Rick Deremo takes 1st place in XRRA Moab in his new IFS Jimmys 4x4 buggy


Riding on his new 2009 Jimmys 4x4 "Deremo IFS chassis," rock racer Rick Deremo cleanly defeated 34 opponents in the Xtreme Rock Racing Western Division season opener on April 11. The opener, which was held at Moab, Utah, was greeted with a morning rain that left surfaces less than ideal. Nonetheless, Deremo persevered in tough conditions to make rock-racing history as the first-ever to win a XRRA race in a vehicle utilizing an independent front suspension.

The "Deremo chassis" is built by Randy Rodd of Jimmy's 4x4 in Cortez, Colorado. Powering the winning racer is an LS2 Chevy V-8, the same engine used to power prior-year Corvettes.

The XRRA Western Division series will be completed in Cortez, Colorado, in August. To determine the ultimate winner for the 2009 XRRA season, both winners from the Eastern and Western Division series will compete against one another in the U.S. Finals, which will be held September 19 in Colorado Springs.
